Here's an article about a darling of the stealth left-wing side of the anti-science movement. I was going to describe the issue as more pernicious than climate denial, because of it's seeming easy acceptance when it comes up lots of people don't even know it is an ideological denialist movement. But that would be presuming that the ineptitude of climate denialists will keep their idiocy from remaining public policy. From the "organic" food movement to hokey woo like "Eat Pray Love" to Steve Jobs trying to cure his cancer with a change in diet, the American left has a lot of wrong ideas about food.
